It was standard great LCD. E-Factory, philly. They're actually playing tonight and tomorrow (4 night stand). They played the hits i wanted to hear, and stretched a little. Lights were cool. I stayed near the back since it was fairly full and our mask mandate expired a few weeks ago. Would recommend.

@Unoclay, does E-Factory still have the bleachers in the back?

yes, bleachers, confirmed. Its rebranded as "Franklin Music Hall" with new owners but its the same exact place. Tix were on f'ing stubhub for under face value for monday, so check there before paying the full $100 (we did, but there were lots of extras for monday).

I may have told this story in the chat before but when I booked a venue in Chicago we added GY!BE to a show as a last minute favor. It was 1998. They were told they could play for 30 minutes. After 40 or so and repeated "wrap it up" requests from the sound guy / staff the owner of the club had to personally go to the front of the state and tell them to stop

local philadelphia jam/tronic band disco biscuits used to be famous for getting the hook from management of the venues when they played like 30+ past curfew

i was at one of their gigs in ~2002 when they played a casino in AC and they turned on the lights in the venue when the band was still raging.

Forgot to mention that these are all cassette labels. Allows them to pump hundreds of releases out with little production costs, probably an odd choice sound-wise given the audiofile-ish type of music, but it sounds distinctive on the right releases

Ah! Here we go. Godspeed was the Khyber in 98 and that Mogwai with Godspeed and Ganger show at the TLA was Sept 3rd 99. A friend ended up letting Ganger, who’d never played the U.S. before then, crash on their apartment floor
