Homemade carnitas & tortillas taco dinner last night and lunch today and... would not mind a repeat tonight. But going veggie tonight no doubt.

I will report I had an early dinner. One of those Qdobas opened in my town and so I tried it. It was "ok"

School musical rehearsal has cut down on our dinner prep these past two weeks but our neighbors came by last night and made a lovely curry.

We tried to have a middle eastern feast on Sunday for Mother's Day but I just can't seem to find the sort of middle eastern food that knocks socks off around here. It was "good."

I really liked the New Year's Day episode.

I have been re-watching all the episodes of the Fourth Doctor, because he was my first Doctor. I am delighted all over again at Tom Baker's insousiance in the face of baddie interrogators, and his embrace of physical stuntwork. Such entertainment value!

For a long time I would only rent Netflix DVDs of old Doctor Who stories b/c they had a subtitle track you could enable with facts about each episode. I think I did all of 4-7 that way!

The first Doctor Who I remember seeing on NJN was the final Pertwee -> Baker. I have a real Peter Davison soft spot.

@christine yes, that doctor with Sarah Jane Smith is great. I started with Pertwee who i like more and more when rewatching on Pluto.

Tom Baker being on an episode of Remington Steele was a bigger deal to me than it should have been in retrospect!

WNJN gave us Monty Python too. When PBS still had real Gov funding. Weird world.

NJN used to be the first in the states to get new Doctor Who episodes. A shame they got scrapped for parts.

I used to cycle through all the Philly/Jersey PBS stations to watch it, 12, 23, and 34. Always at times like 11:05-11:25 at night and not showing the same serial.

Let's pour a bier out for the awesomeness of NJN as it was then.

I'd pour out some of this blackberry lemonade seltzer, but I am enjoying it too much!

For some reason our cable co carried Michigan PBS, so they showed us Baker while the home station gave us endless Pertwee.

I had a few drops of this pink apple and lemon seltzer to pour in the sink.

@Christine, I might have played a little fast and loose with "the truth" as thankfully a different 8th grader has been asking her classmates for songs and I just have to put them in an order and make sure they are audible.

Also, check for "radio edits."

I would expect a lot of BTS, some pop tunes, some hip hop and probably a few John Williams pieces added to the spreadsheet by a certain someone...
