I sure will, Addie! That's a bit of really good news! I'm fine! Tornado watch was just lifted, so just a bit of rain...feeling good that the electricity is holding on despite the lightning!

We're gonna get the heat wave you had last week- 94 degrees tomorrow!

Wow! Wild weather all over! We’re heading into another 90 degree weekend here which is unheard of in May.

It’s actually been a glorious spring week in between scorching blasts

Lilacs are busting out all over!

Yes, looks like we're in for the same...wild wind and rain -- OOOH the lilacs! I do love them!!!!What a sweet fragrance!

We used to have purples and the people next door had purples AND whites!

I was going to head up there last weekend after the show, but my brother had Covid...he's okay though

Oh dang. Glad to hear he’s doing alright.

There are some massive bushes on my drive home from work as today I could smell them as I passed!

Yeah, thanks, his partner got it too. I cross fingers - I have so far not gotten it, cases are rising here.

Oh I love it when I can get a whiff! Fleeting but fab!

What has been keeping you busy now that you’re retired? I hope you’re enjoying being home!

Yeah, been taking care of home projects - I had a plumbing issue - still waiting for the contractor, but the mold is all gone and the leak stopped - and fortunately it's the spare bathroom! Also went to see Angelique Kudjo last week, it was great!

Yes, she was great- Lizbot was there also - we loved it when Angelique did Pata Pata!

Very tight band too- great percussionist...

Angelique is in her sixties, and she was all over the stage- amazing energy!

And in great voice!

Ahhh, Pata Pata! A real crowd pleaser. 😻

Yes, and she really knew how to get us all to sing along (of course, I don't need much encouragement!) But getting people up to dance too...

Readie: I've seen so many I didn't go to much effort, It never got above the horizon by 30 degrees, so it was hidden by apartment buildings, oh well!

Well, I did see the full moon and it was lovely!
