This may actually be three not two lol, they announced a week delay to the summer start after I got this show together so uhhh one more week on top of that

Prob gonna be lots of sub shows on that third week if a few DJs already had plans lolol

I'm glad for the extra week too, a good sendaway for me to try to go back to normal when I get back home 😎

Because even when Covid lockdowns began in 2020, I kept posting weekly shows to the site in the interim before we started to resume "regular" programming at the station

Oh, Crosstrek update. Picked mine up last Wednesday (it had come in a week earlier but I was out of state). So far I'm enjoying it a lot. Getting used to less space than my Element, but great otherwise.

So fear not, music will be shared however it may be

oh nice! I'm also driving my new crosstrek, been loving it

Lower than the forester but with similar ground clearance, drives like an impreza

Definitely a different feel from the Element tho, those cars are super fun

Nice! Glad to hear the car issue is resolved for you. Yeah I think it's actually just a lifted impreza when it comes down to it.

Yeah essentially, I also like the move from a typical sedan to a raised hatchback

Element's storage capacity was mind boggling

Ahhh that sucks TAndy, I've heard that is happening a lot lately. I ordered mine so that was a way to prevent that, but ya gotta be ok with about 10 weeks wait time. It's strange to say MSRP is a deal these days

Yeah the dealership I went with were basically selling the used inventory for as much as I paid for a new one, wild

Yeah I'm not buying sloppy seconds or the errand car from the dealer for MSRP lol

yeah they were asking new car prices for used cars that were clocking 20k+ a year

I told another dealer on vacation and he's trying to push an errand car on me while I'm not even near the state

"It's only four years old!" *looks at odometer in horror*

People got new cars to use as Uber and Lyft vehicles then sold it back when the market went the way it is now, lucky then

It's bonkers right now. I'm relieved to have gotten a new car tho, as things don't really seem to be improving as I thought they would by now.

Yeah if you can wait it's probably a good idea. I unfortunately couldn't, but it seems it worked out ok in my case

I watched cable tv the other day and it seemed like every car commercial was for an electric or plug in hybrid

I specify cable because, ya know, 2022

I considered a hybrid but I don't like how the power engages. I drive like an A-hole so they ain't for me

I just worry about long distance trips and charging, I'd do a hybrid but not ready for full electric yet myself.

This Kikagaku Moyo sounds like a nice summer sound

I live in the city so electric is impossible for me. I'm not waiting in line at Quakerbridge mall to get to the EV charger to wait for a few hours before I can drive off

Once the availability/price gets more accesible I'll happily get like a Subaru Soltera or something. Not the most convenient yet but I loved driving an electric car when I got the chance to

Plus if we're at the end of the gasoline era, it's kinda fun to get one last ICE in there

Oh yeah you had the Tesla rental! I need to try an electric just for fun

I'm at the point where I want to get a Honda Trail or an old MKII to drive around town and save the car for groceries/projects/travel

I would have gotten an EV rental next week but it would have cost me like $150 a day

ahhh yeah the EV I had driven was given to me at a super discounted rate because they didnt have the type of car I reserved

I wasn't even aware of them until like this past fall, an odd time for them to call it quits, seems like they are getting big right now
