After you said the John Cooper Clarke record was from when dinosaurs ruled the earth, I was riffing in my head on how people think oil comes from decaying dinosaurs, trying to come up with a joke to connect the two, then looked up what petroleum is made from (plankton, as it turns out), and came across this line: "These microscopic organisms, mostly diatoms and dinoflagellates, are wondrously able to turn starlight into food," thereby turning the subject back to your radio show somehow.
