It's been a week of tremendous music; on the heels of Jon's 25-hour Holiday Marathon, everybody's playing their picks of the best of 2022. And now it's time for Serenade to A Cuckoo! 🐦 🎶 And Marvin's 24-hour marathon is starting right after our show, Jerry. An abundance of riches!

I started compiling my best and decided against it, wanted to play these "left out" songs. I may or may not do it next week.

I just tuned in and missed “Nuttin’ For Christmas”, a track that’s not on my 1999 Rhino four CD boxset “Tip of the Freberg: The Stan Freberg Collection 1951-1998”. Though not a complete audio collection, it includes a VHS tape of his TV commercials (which I haven’t watched in years because I no longer have a VCR). Shortly before that, Radio Spirits (in association with the Smithsonian Institution) issued two 4-CD volumes collecting all 15 episodes of his 1957 CBS radio series.
