Stephen Cope is a professor of global modernism in the English and Comparative Literature Department at Hobart and WIlliam Smith Colleges. A poet and theorist, he is also host of Conference of the Birds, an internationally celebrated radio program and podcast of music from around and beyond the globe, featuring everything from field recordings to free jazz. Conference of the Birds airs live on WRFI radio in Ithaca and Watkins Glen, NY, every Friday evening from 9pm to Midnight, and is archived and available free-of-charge, 24/7, at http://conferenceofthebirds.podbean.com and via iTunes and elsewhere.
