More Music, Fewer Hits
College radio broadcasting from the campus of Case Western Reserve University to the Greater Cleveland area
What's a Steve's Folk Radio Show? We subscribe to Pete Seeger's definition of folk music: it's music for folks. We play music that children of the '60s and '70s love, but we also go backwards in time to play their influences, and forward in time to play those that they've influenced. We love to play live cuts, obscure covers, b-sides, deep album tracks and alternate versions of the songs we love. If it's folk, rock, folk-rock, psychedelia, country-rock, pub-rock, baroque rock, or you-name-it rock, you've come to the right place on left side of the dial. And as a free bonus to our first 330 million listeners, we'll provide fun and interesting backstories and trivia about the songs, bands, albums and eras. Check out our playlists, then give us a couple weeks. You'll be hooked! It's folk-y, with a rockin' beat!
