Melanin Matters is a variety show focusing on the Black experience at Boston University and beyond. Every 15 minutes we alternate between talk and music. All Black DJs and all Black music. Providing a sense of representation to an underserved and marginalized audience on campus, we focus on the serious news and important events within the local, national, and international Black community; simultaneously, we always make sure to dedicate time to highlighting the positive things to know, which are often overlooked. We also have weekly guests who share their insights and experiences through interviews, advice, or roundtable conversations. And, of course… we make sure to have fun!!
