Now your are tuning in to THE CUBAN BRIDGE at WWPV 92.5 FM "The Mike" - this is the St. Michael's College radio station, and we are coming to you from COLCHESTER, VERMONT, the Green Mountain State in the US of America.

In this month of FEBRUARY, we are celebrating the TENTH ANNIVERSARY of our radio show.

This afternoon, we are also celebrating 60 YEARS of CUBAN JAM SESSION. And I have a brief explanation about this.

DANCING MUSIC SCENE and LATIN JAZZ boast many brilliant musicians in the 7 continents, some of them are going to be in THE CUBAN BRIDGE !

Ever since the creation of MACHITO and the AFROCUBANS, and other bands led by Tito Rodriguez and Tito Puente - better known as The Big Three, or The Mambo Kings in New York, also Charlie and Eddie Palmieri, and Cal Tjader or Stan Kenton, in the West Coast, the world has welcomed much more and better music with CUBAN, LATIN and Caribbean Flavors !

This is what our CUBAN BRIDGE is all about. It's our aim, to celebrate the CENTENNIAL of pianist ADOLFO GUZMAN and trombonist LEOPOLDO "PUCHO" ESCALANTE, both born in CUBA.
