This afternoon-evening we are celebrating THE INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY - which was yesterday APRIL 30 - in the 7 continents. Our lei motiv today is to present JAZZIFIED VERSION OF POP, ROCK, FUNK, FOLK ROCK, and R & B Classics - to expand the IDEA of The Songbook beyond its hey day in the 20s and the 30s, and as GUITARIST DAVE STRYKER affirms A GREAT MELODY IS A GREAT MELODY NO MATTER WHAT DECADE - but we are CROSSING OVER mainly after the 1960s up to this minute.
