Hi everyone,
After 3 more weeks away from the mics due to surgery on my right hand and siatica on my left leg, and I have been missing you a lot !.
SO today, I have a wonderful menu of succulent RUMBA BEATS to celebrate 19 years of the release of the album LA RUMBA SOY (I am the Rumba) which won a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Music album in 2011.
2011 was a tragical year with SEPTEMBER 11, reason why this album is ripe of discovery, and has very few reviews, but today we are going to bring it back, and complete, try to fill the void of all these 19 years, with OLD and NEW compositions played by musicians from half a planet.
LA RUMBA was born in Matanzas, a province of CUBA, and has developed all over the 7 continents.
Now is your time to enjoy, the opening with MONTREAL PIANO MASTER VIC VOGEL avec Le Jazz Big Band, featuring the finest players in the Olympic City.
The second song, comes from Los Angeles, the third from Spain, the fourth from New York, .... The rest of the bands will help us complete the story. Have mercy please, and spread the word.
