Low Power, High Voltage
WXNA is a freeform, non-commercial, listener-supported radio station created by and for the community to provide an alternative voice that reflects the rich history, and diversity of Nashville’s musical, artistic, and cultural communities.
Musician and songwriter Patricio Johnson has been leaning hard on these musics called soul and blues since he was a poxy teen in South Dakota. He collects 45s of same, which he carries to the station every week to entertain and enliven Monday nights for himself and all who listen in. He is adept at mimicry and often slips into a flat midwestern drawl in order to confound.
