Wisconsin Singer-Songwriter Peggy James was my guest today live via Zoom on this socially distanced episode of Sessions with Sandy, our weekly live music and interview program on Riverwest Radio WXRW 104.1 FM. Peggy just released her fifth album, Paint Still Wet, September 18 on Happy Growl Records. Her music defies categories. There is a lot of country in her songwriting and her voice but a lot of other elements as well. The album was produced by Jim Eannelli who colors the project from the wide palette of his own background as a multi-instrumentalist rock, pop, folk, blues performer. We talked with Peggy about the album and enjoyed a few songs.
