Hey #KOTJ! @chamboulé: no hidden meaning. Just an unappealing word that a marketer who doesn't "get it" would use. For a long time I was hyping my fictitious ski resort "Squanko Mountain" - "with the lowest per capita fatality rate of any other mountain within a 20 mile radius!"

I know a guy who was in a noise band, plays didgeridoo, and was a ZBC DJ.

I don't hate didgeridoo. I don't hate trumpets, flutes, or glass either. Maybe there's really been a didgeridoo Orgy on WHRB

Sadly, the WHRB orgies aren't as great as they used to be.

I saw him open for Bjork at Avalon. Took the piss, laid on stage and played old British 60's records on a record player sitting on a chair. Suffice to say, Bjork fans did not know what to make of it.

he's 50/50 for me; I like the AFX stuff, like some AT stuff, feel like he tries too hard with some of the more outro stuff; and have not checked in on what he's doing in about 15 years

@Kevin damn show I saw was much better - he was on a lineup with Orbital and I think Moby.. looked like his synths were homemade, his show was good I was watching from the side of the stage.

He was just starting to become well known and how often are you going to see Aphex Twin "live?" So pretty subversive on his part to take that approach. As performance, it was brilliant. As an "Aphex Twin concert," I don't think he played anything by him.

Coil. Damn good call. Will play next week. Probably Windowpane.. also Jah Wobble request came in;)

Saw Orbital and Moby at Avalon also, separately but never together. Back in the days when they would start such concerts at 6PM so they could rush everybody out for the 10PM "dance night" thing. That never felt right.
