@exDJtamer that's not possible since the Jetsons takes place in the future. Hence the character had to be covering the original SciAm's version :)

ZBC had John Orsi's 7" single and it was played often, especially on some NCP programs in the early 1980s.

I did longer sets this week as well...and dug up some stuff like John Orsi that I hadn't thought about in years...I suppose listen to each other's shows are evoking subliminal memories...

I haven't done a mic break since March 8. Yow! Ill get chatty come July.

and, for what it's worth, I usually only tal once an hour. That's how i did it for PR and for NCP back when i did those shows.

Maybe a future show you can do all cassette stuff. Maybe I can track down my Propeller cassette and send it to you. And James Murphy loves to steal bass lines and guitar riffs.

@piguy, do have a good copy of the propeller cassette? I'd pay for a dub.

Well I think there is a belief that they are all bad...haven't played mine in over 30 years but it's in a cool dry area.

yeah, I know. I've had two copies and they eventually stared squealing.

Cassettes actually can hold up really well.. i found one not labelled, a Maxell LD, played it, was WCCC recorded around 975, sounded like yesterday.

Had a co-worker in the band People in Stores so that's how I got my copy. Saw them on a bill with Burma at the Underground.

@piguy, I hope it's in good condition. digitized it immediately

Just fished it out...haven't been moved to digitize my cassettes up to this point since 99% of my collection were albums or mix tapes.

PVA makes me think of the Unloved, who do a lot of the Killing Eve soundtrack stuff; in fact, the music is the only reason IMO to watch that almost unbearable show

no, I have played it many times and checked it out, it's fine, the neats song is one of my all time faves, last song ever played at the underground club if I remember correctly, remember that place fondly
