Historic whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg From Here to Doomsday: Endless Wars and Insane Nuclear Policy Since the Pentagon Papers (first half-hour)
Live recording from Zoom session, Community Church of Boston 2020
Ellsberg was the heroic whistleblower who in 1971 risked 100+ years in prison by releasing and publicizing the top secret Pentagon Papers, which blew open the lethal scandal of US military planning. At age 89, he still has plenty of energy and plenty to say, speaking passionately for more than an hour, much about the insanity of nuclear war planning and preparation. We've had to split this presentation in two: the first half-hour now, including an intro by Joe Gerson, and the remaining full hour at 9am. The entire proceedings, including music, Q&A, and other speakers and tributes are currently available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nY2mnj8GCw .
