I have never listened to much Quicksilver but this is quite good

My friends from around the world are semi relieved..but happy for us

They have come to be my favorite SF band. Cippolina and Duncan are a powerhouse guitar pair.

Well Im happy to listen to the positivity of jamies show before the opposite of mine tommorow

Jamie's show is a sweet balm upon a roiled world

I have conservative friends who are rational but somehow got on the Trump bandwagon for some reason and I will reach out to them...but the anti-vexers, and crazy people aren't worth my effort

Have you though about putting in the recent SWANS or NiN stuff into this? It's very long form and doesn't fit with ZBCRock but it would be amazing with what your playing

I'm not sure what we are doing that we shouldn't be doing

I havent listened to the new stuff, but I will.

I was telling Daniel the other day he should listen to the Swans

They are an amazing bands with several different personae over the years

Have you listened to the Angels of Light, JC? They would fit very well with the aestehtic of the your show

I havent. One the awesome things about this last year has been (re)discovering so much music. I appreciate the suggestions. This next set is songs my daughter suggested.

The newst SWANS doesn't fit my show unfortunately but it might be great for Jamie.

I remember back when SWANS did fit my show Andrew was pinned by sound to the wall at the Rat...as we all were It was so loud we all were immobile The new thing is much more ambient, psychedelic

Ive never seen them live, I always had a gig of my own. th volume is legendary tho

I remember Loop at the Rat being that loud. And I had just come frm hearing Ran Dass speak.

Now Loop is a band I should revisit

once SWANS couldn't turn up the volume any more they turned up the heat...they make the middle east downstairs into a sweat lodge with the volume almost killed me

Was that the packed show with the opener, in what looked like sweat pants, while (I think?) playing a harp and giving an edurance test, in the form of a high pitch renasaince fest singing .... for a loooooooooooong time? I remember cracking up as I empathized with the twisted sadism that must have inspired that pick to open.

I loooove this Funkadelic record

I searched for almost 20 years for it on vinyl, and then it came out on cd a couple years later. It's great fron start to finish.

@DD IDK I always had an all access pass to SWANs back in the day so never saw the opener...

but that sounds about right
