everything i bought on WayFair fell apart.

Total crap.

We sent back everything we ever bought from WayFair and stopped buying from them. One time they sent the wrong item and the item they sent was a huge shelf unit that was the size of a large coffin. Nothing like the item we ordered. On top of that, they sent two of them. Just the boxes took up the whole living room.

I feel bad since the HQ is just a few blocks away.

Don't. One of my former flight ops guys at old job interned at Wayfair. They pay and treat terribly...also use a lot of interns. Terrible company. Hmmmm.. Greensight at least paid interns fairly well...almost as much as me.

@Bradgic - yeah i *want* Wayfair to be good to disrupt Amazon's monopoly, but i associate the name "Wayfair" with "cheaply made in China".. or "We've eliminated quality control and passed the savings on to YOU!"

They wanted to wait a week to come pick up the giant, thousand pound boxes. My wife went to town on them and they were back within 2 hours. And that is the end of WayFair in this house. @James..yes, I have a friend that told sordid tales of working there as well.

I think they bank on people just accepting crap and never complaining or taking the 10% off. I know folks that say it was a good experience. Listener to live stream last night said they tell you to keep the original crap order.

We have to chase our beagle around the house to get her to put on the leash. Most dogs are eager to get the leash on.
