West is a professor, author and scholar who currently teaches at Union Theological Seminary in NYC. He previously taught at Yale, Harvard, and University of Paris. He is also a human rights activist who can be found demonstrating on the streets as well as teaching in the classroom. His major subject here was Black/Palestinian solidarity. Joao Magueijo, a Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Imperial College of London, disputes some of Einstein’s most accepted theories. In his book, “Faster than the Speed of Light: The Story of a Scientific Speculation,” he argues that the speed of light is not constant, questioning the basis of the Theory of Relativity.

Our guest Randall Wray is a professor of economics at Bard College. His current research focuses on providing a critique of orthodox monetary theory and policy, and the development of an alternative approach. He also publishes extensively in the areas of full employment policy and, more generally, fiscal policy. Wray’s most recent book is A Great Leap Forward: Heterodox Economic Policy for the 21st Century.
