Buenos días aficionados de KOTJ!!! How are you guys. Armando here...came back from Colombia two weeks ago and now finally back to 'ZBC land.

Happy information: it is truly weird to listen to the 'Z, James in particular, while one is having a local cuisine breakfast in a little tropical town surrounded by lush, tropical forest filled mountains.

Helloooo James. N o hustle, just visiting family in full leisure mode as, as you know, I am now retired.

Nice. I can imagine the out-o-placeness of the KOTJ in the tropics of SA.

Listening with one ear to someone speaking in Spanish and with the other to James speaking in English and being attentive to both is quite an experience.

Roger; yes there are. You have to go to the Colombian neighborhoods; I call them colonies. There is a Colombian colony in East Boston, one in Roslindale/Hyde Park, and I believe in Jamaica Plain. I know first hand that there are several restaurants in Eastie.

I'm in Waltham ..we have a lot of great Guatemalan, Salvadoran and Mexican places here but I do not think any Columbian .

@James were you at the GBV show last weekend

I had to have it refunded because it was rescheduled to the same night as Superchunk but then Superchunk was rescheduled so I ended up at GBV. Yes they played a while-about half his bottle of Jose Cuervo and a six pack's worth . So 2.5 hours

RichardR: well...I gotta tell you...I have the winter blues real bad...I can't take the winters anymore. This trip was longer than usual....it was a trial run at an extended stay in Colombia. I think it worked. If things go right, I will be there next year from January until April. That's the plan anyway...we'll se what happens.
