hey all! So the music's provided by a longtime ZBC listener today.. not a regular soundsyrup show thing..

when the bot was down overnight Sun pm / Mon AM, i fed his 7 hour playlist to ZBC, and really enjoyed listening to it, so it's on again today.

Friday KOTJ I get a day off, too. Listener donor Mark "DJ Carbo" Kates takes over.

this is a radio station whose listeners often know the music as well or better than us DJ's...

I inquired with Alexandra back in the remote show days. Wasn't possible.

Listening to Jeff talk to me in between work calls - kinda bizarre!

It'd be pretty great to get Alexandra back for an hour a week.

Howdy all you syrupy people. Jeff, I had the same AC blockage/leakage, but you were clever enough to fix it yourself.

@Bruce yeah i hope Alexandra returns to the Z some day..

@Richard .. i hauled a shop vac up to where the drain tubes go into the gutter and vacuum out the clog. Water gushes out, the dripping inside stopped, so I figure I'm good for another 2 or 3 years...

Nothing like work to get in the way of my listening needs...Happy to be here now though.

these guys (Gravel Pit) are "local" - they went to my highschool in CT and were kind of a Boston band

and Sebadoh from Western MA (Westfield)

and Figgs/Mike Gent - Saratoga, NY,

most of the music i normally play is either out Brooklyn NY, the UK or Australia
