G'morning, Saginaw. Yeah, bummer.

I saw Ocasek walking through Harvard Square years ago. I was awed and he was SO HOMELY

He know how to look cool though. He was an inspiration to gangly, nerdy, teenage kids like myself.

Too true.

That last song had two false endings. Keeping me on my toes this morning.

And you get the added bonus of hearing me try to pronounce these song titles.

But you get points for correctly pronouncing "Ocasek".

Ha! I almost looked it up to be sure, then I saw the NYT had the pronunciation in their obit.

A vote for candy-o (as covered by the Melvins) RO was a hero

For people of a certain age, The Cars were part of the shift when we went from listening to, like, Styx and Kansas to something more interesting. Their first 4 or so albums, essential. And then Ric helped Bad Brains create one of the best hardcore albums ever made.
