11:21pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

thanks Dave!

11:21pm   Dave

Nice tie-in with that ocean PSA!

11:19pm   jimimac

Another interesting song on that Beach Boys LP is “Sumahama”...Japanese something???

11:16pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Sure thing jimimac, thanks!

11:15pm   Funkster69

Thanks. This is Ron and I am your captain.

11:14pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

I've got some Grand Funk with me tonight Funkster69, let me check on it, thanks!

11:13pm   jimimac

Hi Boss G. Got a tune by Peter Frampton to celebrate his 68th birthday today? Never know on long these guys will be around; see e.g. Tom Petty

11:11pm   Funkster69

Hey Boss Guy got any Grand Funk such as Closer to my Home?

10:52pm   Dave

10:52pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

Obviously. But save it for the next "Winamp" disaster.

10:51pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

True! I'll make it Dino Day, just for Armando..haha!

10:48pm   Dave

In honor of Earth Day which was today. Hell, you could even play "What About Me?" by QMS (some environmental references are contained within).

10:47pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Never played that long one, for obvious reasons Armando!

10:46pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

Not that I'm requesting that long TODD song. DAVE might.

10:45pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

On the TODD RUNDGREN release "Intiation", side two is taken up by "A Treatise on Cosmic Fire" (Instrumental) – 35:22.

10:45pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

I may have some of those with me tonight Dave, thanks!

10:44pm   Dave

Could you play an "Earth Day" set of tunes, say Spirit's "Nature's Way", The Beach Boys' "Don't Go Near the Water", The Beatles' "Mother Nature's Son", Traffic's "When the Eagle Flies" or similarly themed songs?

10:37pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Yeah, it's great one Dave, even without Gene Clark!

10:37pm   RobertM

10:36pm   Dave

Dug that Byrds track!

10:36pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

I'll play "Lather" for you RobertM! thanks!

10:35pm   RobertM

how about some Jefferson Airplane like "Lather" or "Star Track"....if you please.

10:34pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Hey RobertM!

10:34pm   RobertM

aw I missed Atom Heart Mother, eh?

10:33pm   RobertM

10:32pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

Videos from the UTOPIA tour are starting to appear on "You Tube".

10:31pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Yeah, I agree Armando! I use to go when it was an open air venue, then again when it was turned into a closed concert theater!

10:29pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

It's sad that the Universal Amphitheater is no longer around. It's space was taken over by the "Harry Potter" attraction. I saw many a great concert there.

10:28pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Is there??

10:27pm   Dave

Isn't there a Todd song that runs around 36 minutes?

10:25pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

at 23:38, it could be Armando!

10:25pm   Dave

You should try using the cover of The Court of the Crimson King!

10:24pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

Is this the longest record ever played on the BOSS GUY IN CLAREMONT program?

10:23pm   Cosmic Dancer

But I still listen to it

10:23pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Haha...I used to play Wish You Were Here to make my daughter not touch my records when she was still crawling Cosmic Dancer! I'd put the album cover in front of my stack of records of the two guys on fire! Worked every time!

10:22pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

SYD BARRETT era PINK FLOYD is outstanding! But it rarely gets radio play. Except for your program.

10:21pm   Dave

Pooooooooorrr Jeff!!

10:21pm   Cosmic Dancer

I played Meddle once for my girls. They were young, The song scared them so much, all I had to do after that was tell them if they don’t straiten up I would play that song. It worked I never had to lay it for them again

10:20pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

That's a great one too, Dave!

10:20pm   Dave

As is Meddle too!

10:20pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Jeff in Santa Ana called and said to tell all the regular spinitron chatters, "Hello" and that he still hasn't gotten a new computer!

10:20pm   Dave

I agree that Atom Heart Mother is extremely underrated.

10:18pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

This Floyd record is one of their most underrated Armando! Who doesn't LOVE Syd Barrett era Floyd!?

10:18pm   Cosmic Dancer

10:17pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

I'm already settled in Dave!

10:17pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

I wasn't much of a fan of this era of PINK FLOYD. I liked the SYD BARRETT era, but I tuned out until D.S.O.T.M.

10:15pm   Dave

This track should give you extra time to get your crates of vinyl situated and to get settled in for five hours of music!

10:13pm   Cosmic Dancer

10:13pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

10:12pm   Dave

Diggin' the Atom Heart Mother Suite!

10:11pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Ha...yeah, too bad Oliver isn't tuned in tonight for Floyd!

10:11pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

Endless PINK FLOYD? If he's listening, OLIVER must be in 7th Heaven.

10:10pm   Dave

Good deal!

10:09pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Spinitron is now working from my end Dave! Had to let the station director fix the winamp before I could answer back on spinitron. We're all good now!

10:06pm   Dave

Is Spinitron working ok?

10:05pm   Apropos Armando of the IE

PINK FLOYD from 48 years ago. It seems like only yesterday that this was released.

10:03pm   Dave

"Atom Heart Mother" (sweet!!)

10:02pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Hi Dave!

10:02pm   Dave

Good evening John!

9:58pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)

Having some Winamp problems again at the moment!

9:57pm   Boss Guy In Claremont (host)
