UConn's Sound Alternative

The Sunday Night Folk Festival (Folk/Country/Bluegrass)

The Sunday Night Folk Festival, now in its 36th year, tries to cover a lot of musical ground in 3 hours: there’s always new music in all the micro-genres; there are musical guests; concerts and festivals are previewed; and what with folk music being so thematic, there are always song-sets based on current events, holidays, weather, and, occasionally, whim. The Folk Calendar galumphs in around 9pm.
