Brian D 3:24:35 PM
Can you do Ken voice as grumpy Orson Welles reading ad copy? Please?
Pat (host) 3:24:43 PM
Of course, I can Brian D. They don't call me the Rich Little of WPRB for nothing
Brian D 3:27:08 PM
Can you do Ken voice in BAUD 80 computer modem language circa 1981 Radio Shack TRS 80 model please?
David Shortell 3:27:19 PM
The Troggs Tapes was spoofed on the 5th season of Saturday Night Live. A medieval band of troubadours rehearsed for a royal performance, bickering like the Troggs with frequent use of the profane adjective “flogging”. At one point, Paul Shaffer became the first person to curse on live TV when he accidentally said “fucking” instead.
David Shortell 3:27:21 PM
It went almost unnoticed thanks to the professionalism of Harry Shearer and Bill Murray, who maintained the fast-paced dialogue without missing a beat or changing their expressions.
Pat (host) 3:30:30 PM
David coming in with the hot Troggs parody facts. I had no clue about this. I'm guessing with the accidental expletive it's hard to track down these days
Brian D 3:30:57 PM
Charles Rocket did it again in 1981 on SNL in the Eddie Murphy years... reading now i see it's a recurring thing on SNL. Paul, Charles, Jon Lovitz, Norm Macdonald... long live the F bomb
Brian D 3:31:39 PM
I remember the Charles Rocket time
Ambrose Hughes 3:31:49 PM
Liked that 1st Clean track a lot🔥
Pat (host) 3:32:32 PM
The only eff bomb I witnessed on SNL was the one dropped by Jenny Slate.
Brian D 3:32:35 PM
Looks like Morris Day, Beastie Boys and Jenny Slate are in the F bomb club too. Good for them
Pat (host) 3:33:27 PM
Ambrose, I believe the Philadlephia Record Exchange still have copies of that Clean reissue. All the live stuff is 🔥🔥🔥
Ambrose Hughes 3:34:23 PM
@Pat, good to know, thanks!
Brian D 3:35:11 PM
Love when this Sonny lp pops up in the playlists
-ᎷяMΔᏞᏨØИᎢΞNᎢ-💀 3:35:24 PM
JENNY SLATE 💖 ding dong doorbell hello whut
Ambrose Hughes 3:35:47 PM
@Pat, did you ever track down any Radie Pete and Lankum for The Drone Zone?
-ᎷяMΔᏞᏨØИᎢΞNᎢ-💀 3:36:10 PM
I luv SONNY BONO 🥵
Brian D 3:36:19 PM
Sonny is a bit "stoned early Alice Cooper"in his delivery
Ambrose Hughes 3:37:09 PM
@Brian D. Hahaha!😝
David Shortell 3:37:37 PM
Now that I think of it, when Jefferson Airplane performed “Volunteers” on the Dick Cavett Show in 1969, ABC apparently let Grace Slick sing “motherfuckers”. It was more of a muttering, so maybe they didn’t notice.
Pat (host) 3:37:50 PM
that is very good bad sonny bono song. the wrecking crew keeps it interesting. And the way Sonny sings "smoking pot", pure perfection.
Pat (host) 3:40:11 PM
neglected to seek that out @ambrose
Pat (host) 3:40:16 PM
totally forgot
Pat (host) 3:41:34 PM
sorry behind on the playlist folks

Ambrose Hughes 3:42:02 PM
BOBBY
Pat (host) 3:43:54 PM
I've just started to scratch the surface on Bobby Hutcherson's oeuvre, lovely stuff so far though
David Shortell 3:44:04 PM
Just yesterday, I was watching a 1971 skit from CBS’ Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour called “All in the Familius”. It reimagines that other CBS program as an Italian opera, with the baritone Robert Merril playing Archie. A CBS censor enters at one point, threatening to shut down the show. He’s played by Carroll O’Connor!
Brian D 3:44:27 PM
Barbershop Shenanigans, is that your vocal group that practices every Tuesday? You the High tenor? Bass?
Pat (host) 3:45:11 PM
TAndy what happened at the barbershop? Moustache wax disaster?
Pat (host) 3:45:56 PM
David, I've gotta know, where are you finding Sonny and Cher Comedy hour episodes?
TAndy 3:48:00 PM
They're the B Sharps ;)
David Shortell 3:49:18 PM
Just clips, Pat. I fell into a YouTube rabbit hole yesterday.
Brian D 3:53:35 PM
DRONE FAKE OUT!
Pat (host) 3:54:07 PM
Got it David. I thought maybe there was some hidden treasure trove if you become a platinum subscriber to the CBS app or something

Sheila Chandra "A Bone Crone Drone" is a great lp for this time and just about any. Really relaxes and tunes one all up
