Btw I saw the Eno doc a few weeks back and I highly recommend it if makes it to the Boston area

Great! Where did you see it?

Portland (Oregon). The filmmaker answered questions after the show which was super informative. It's a "generative" film which means each showing is unique. I guess the filmmaker is doing a roadshow as he was heading to SF after our showings

Each showing is unique. Hmm. Does that mean he edits the film differently before each show.

The AI does... He has 152 hours of footage and the AI generates it automagically during each showing to make a unique version. It was very cool

Its the same director who made the doc about Dieter Rams -- the designer

Eno did the soundtrack for the Rams film which how they met

Is AI allowed to hallucinated every time it remakes Eno's documentary?

Good question. How would the viewer know?

He must have a bunch of pre-edited blocks and the AI just randomizes them. Could work in any order as it's not a chronological film.

Sounds like Eno is using AI the right way

Oh...the title song off of that one is one of the most depressing compositions I can think of
